This black and yellow R2 unit was the astromech droid for the Aleph-class starfighter that Syal Antilles and Zueb Zan flew in 40 ABY as part of Gray Squadron.[1]

Biography

The R2 unit was present for the Battle of Tralus in 40 ABY.[1] It alerted Syal Antilles to various threats, including a missile lock on her fighter.[1]

Behind the scenes

This droid made its first appearance in Legacy of the Force: Betrayal, the first novel in the Legacy of the Force series of novels, written by Aaron Allston. It appears on pages 319 and 402 of the novel.[1] It is never given a designation.
