R3-BOO17 was an R3-series astromech droid that was programmed to scavenge Dathomir and serve Darth Maul. The droid was equipped with green, luminescent shielding, and included a Burtt acoustic signaller.

Behind the scenes

This Halloween-themed droid was a toy made available exclusively at Disney Parks in 2017. It was mostly made of green, "glow in the dark" plastic. A similarly-named Halloween-themed droid, R2-BOO, was released in 2016.
