This R2 unit worked in the quarantine inspection area of the Tomorrowland Starport Baggage Claim. He supervised the work of freight and baggage inspection droids P-6 and S-4.

Behind the scenes

This R2 unit was seen in the post-ride disembarking area, alongside P-6 and S-4, in the Tokyo Disneyland version of the ride. However, after the latter two droids were retired, the R2 unit was seen by itself. It was eventually removed altogether when the ride was re-purposed for Star Tours: The Adventures Continue.
