R2-V0 was a R2-series astromech droid with purple adornments. R2-V0 was owned by the Ithorian Ixsthmus, a captain of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The droid served the Green squad of the Reekeene's Roughnecks, a team of the Alliance, and was stationed aboard Ixsthmus's ship, the Long Shot.
The unit was disassembled over fifty times by the ship's co-pilot, Siene Symm. This was to repair the continuous stream of nonsense that came from the units' actuator. Symm was unable to repair it, because the sounds were not a result of a defect. The droid was considered a poet and was said to create sounds because they sound nice together.
