R2-T0 was an R2-series astromech droid owned by the Toydarian junk dealer, Watto.

History

R2-T0 was seen working in Watto's junkyard around 32 BBY when the shop was visited by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, Padmé Amidala, Jar Jar Binks and R2-D2. One of the droid's accessories was a small lamp which could be retracted into the right side of its dome. The Toydarian rented it out to mechanics in Mos Espa.

Behind the scenes

This droid was first named thanks to Hasbro, who packaged an action figure of it together with one of Watto.
