BB-00, nicknamed Boo, was a BB-series astromech droid that belonged to Emil Graf. The droid helped keep their scout ship Star Herald operational.

BB-00 first appeared in the Tales of Wild Space back-up story of Star Wars Adventures 1, "Tales from Wild Space: Stop, Thief!," written by Cavan Scott with art by Jon Sommariva, Sean Parsons and Charlie Kirchoff.

Scott named BB-00 after his youngest daughter, who also goes by the nickname Boo.[1]
