During the [[Battle of Yavin/Legends|Battle of Yavin]], R3-T6 was roaming the corridors of the battlestation and was present when Imperial [[Lieutenant/Legends|Lieutenant]] [[Tanbris]] informed the [[Dark Lord of the Sith/Legends|Dark Lord]] [[Anakin Skywalker/Legends|Darth Vader]] that the [[Death Star/Legends|Death Star's]] [[Turbolaser/Legends|turbolasers]] were unable to track—and therefore destroy—the attacking [[Alliance to Restore the Republic/Legends|Rebel]] [[Starfighter/Legends|starfighters]].<ref name="ANH" />
