During the shortcut Shadow Squandron took to counterattack the [[Confederacy of Independent Systems/Legends|Confederacy of Independent Systems]] new heavy cruiser the [[Malevolence/Legends|Malevolence's]] attack on the Kaliida Nebula Medical station, Tag's engine was damaged while trying to dodge Neebray, which reside in the Kaliida Nebula. R2-Y9 was destroyed during the counterattack when Tag's [[BTL-B Y-wing starfighter]]'s engine failed. Tag along with R2-Y9 crashed with that of fellow [[Pilot/Legends|pilot]] [[Matchstick/Legends|Matchstick]].<br />
