'''R7-T1''' was an [[R7-series astromech droid]] that was produced by [[Industrial Automaton/Legends|Industrial Automaton]] some time after the [[Battle of Endor/Legends|Battle of Endor]].

R7-T1, nicknamed '''Artee''', served as [[Luke Skywalker/Legends|Luke Skywalker's]] in-flight astromech droid when the [[Jedi Master/Legends|Jedi Master]] borrowed an [[E-wing escort starfighter]] from the [[Combined Defense Forces of the New Republic|New Republic Defense Force]] for a brief time during the [[Black Fleet Crisis]]. However, Skywalker never became comfortable with either the new [[Starfighter/Legends|starfighter]] design or the newer-model [[Droid/Legends|droid]], and soon abandoned them in favor of his usual [[T-65 X-wing starfighter]] and his old friend and trusty [[Astromech droid/Legends|astromech droid]], [[R2-D2/Legends|R2-D2]].

==Behind the scenes==
The visual representation of R7-T1 was first created by [[Hasbro Inc.|Hasbro]] through their "Droid Factory" promotion where one part of the droid would be found packaged with several action figures in [[2008]]. The figures that contained the individual parts are [[Saesee Tiin/Legends|Saesee Tiin]] (right leg), [[Padmé Amidala/Legends|Padmé Amidala]] (left leg), [[Mon Calamari/Legends|Mon Calamari]] Warrior (main body), and [[Quarren/Legends|Quarren]] Soldier (head and middle leg).
